Our terms and conditions for property maintenance services.

1. Services
Selwyn Property Services provides property maintenance, repair and inspection services throughout Selwyn District and Canterbury, New Zealand. All work is carried out by or under the supervision of a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP).
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quoted prices are inclusive of labour and materials unless otherwise stated. Any additional work identified during the project will be discussed and agreed with the client before proceeding.
3. Payment Terms
Invoices are due within 7 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer. Overdue accounts may be subject to a 2% per month late payment fee.
4. Cancellations
We ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a call-out fee to cover travel and preparation costs.
5. Warranties
We stand behind our workmanship. If you have concerns about completed work, please contact us within 30 days and we will rectify any defects at no additional cost. This does not apply to defects caused by misuse or events outside our control.
6. Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the work performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
7. Health & Safety
Clients are responsible for ensuring safe site access and disclosing any known hazards. We comply with all relevant New Zealand health and safety legislation.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
